Woman With Red Hair, Torn Jeans Robbed Bank In Kennesaw: Police

Woman with red hairdo and torn denim seen on video camera robbing bank in Kennesaw, police say.

KENNESAW, GA -- Police in Kennesaw are soliciting the public's help in finding a woman they say robbed a credit union this weekend. The incident occurred Saturday morning at the Navy Federal Credit Union at 1300 Ernest Barrett Parkway, according to the Kennesaw Police Department.

The woman presented a note saying that she was armed, according to a Crime Stoppers post on Facebook. She never showed a weapon though, authorities said. "The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot," the Crime Stoppers post says. "It appears as though this same female is a suspect in several other bank robberies around the metro Atlanta area."

The woman was seen on security cameras wearing torn jeans and wearing red hair or either a red wig. She is further described as between 5'4 and 5'5 feet tall and 20 and 30 years old, from 110 and 130 pounds.
