1 Injured, Accused Shooter Dead In Atlanta Road-Rage Dispute: Police
A man involved in a Midtown road-rage incident turned the gun on himself Tuesday while a person who was shot is being treated at a hospital.

MIDTOWN, GA — A 28-year-old man involved in a road-rage incident Tuesday afternoon took his own life at Northside Drive and 10th Street, Atlanta Police said at a 3 p.m. news conference.
Atlanta Police Homicide Cmdr. Lt. Andrew Smith said officers responded around 1 p.m. to the scene, near the Georgia Institute of Technology.
The man - who was not identified - was going north on Northside, where he crashed into another vehicle, Smith said. The area of the road-rage dispute was between Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway and Marietta Street.

The man then shot from his vehicle into a red sedan, Smith said, adding the driver of that vehicle was not hit.
Smith said the man then turned the gun on himself and took his own life. A 51-year-old surviving victim, who was shot in their left arm, is being treated at Grady Memorial Hospital, Smith said.

Neither the man or the surviving victim were connected to Georgia Tech, Smith said.
