Atlanta Streetcars Vandalized; Police Seek Person of Interest
Three streetcars parked in their locked storage area were spray painted with graffiti overnight Tuesday.

Atlanta police are looking for a person who they say is a person of interest in the vandalism of several streetcars overnight Tuesday.
According to police, witnesses stated that between 11:30pm on Monday and 2:50am on Tuesday an unknown person or persons entered into the locked storage area for Atlanta’s streetcars and painted graffiti on the left sides of the 2012 Siemens S70 streetcar numbers 1001, 1002 and 1003. There were no signs of any forced entry into the storage area and it appeared that the perpetrator or perpetrators climbed over a fence to gain access.
If you recognize the person in the footage, please contact Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta by calling 404-577-TIPS (8477), texting “CSA Tip” to CRIMES (274637), or by submitting a tip online. All tips can be made anonymously.
