Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation At Midtown Museum

Spring Street, from 17th to 19th streets, are closed Wednesday afternoon due to the bomb threat.

MIDTOWN, GA — A phone-in bomb threat prompted an evacuation in the 1400 block of Spring Street in Midtown Wednesday and caused multiple streets to be shut down, Atlanta Police said.

The address police provided belongs to Breman Museum, a Jewish culture and history museum.

Spring Street, from 17th to 19th streets, were closed due to the threat, police said.

The Savannah College of Art and Design was impacted due to the threat, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.

It is unclear if there are any injuries. Police did not say how the long before the building will be evacuated.
