Atlanta Fire Rescue confirmed on Twitter that the fire is part of an exercise to train airport firefighters that will run from 8 a.m. to noon. A photo posted by the airport’s Twitter account shows what appears to be a mock-up of a small jet on fire, with firefighters surrounding and attacking the blaze.

Similar training exercises are carried out on a monthly basis.
