Food Drive Set For Wednesday At Colony Square In Midtown
Colony Square is partnering with Whole Foods Market for Hunger Action Month.

ATLANTA — In support of Hunger Action Month and the Atlanta Community Food Bank’s (ACFB) 40th anniversary, Colony Square has partnered with Whole Foods Market Midtown Atlanta to give back to the community by hosting a food drive. On Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Colony Square’s tenants and neighbors are invited to donate non-perishable food items in an effort to fill 40 donation boxes.
Throughout September, the ACFB joined other Feeding America groups across the nation in a call to action dedicated to fighting hunger by raising awareness, funds and volunteer support. Every year, the ACFB distributes over 60 million meals to more than 755,000 people in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.
Containers will be displayed along Colony Square’s front loop facing Peachtree Street. In addition, Colony Square’s office, retail and restaurant tenants have the opportunity to join in on the action by filling a donation box on behalf of their company. Ten of Colony Square’s office tenants have already pledged their support to fill boxes prior to the event, including Springbot, WebMD and Lord Aeck Sargent.
