I-75/85 Crash Kills Pedestrian In Midtown: Report
The person who died was attempting to walk across seven lanes of traffic and was hit and killed by a pickup truck, a media report says.
MIDTOWN, GA — A pedestrian was hit and killed Monday on Interstate 75/85 near Midtown, causing lanes to be blocked for about two hours, 11Alive reported.
A statewide traffic alert system first notified people of the crash around 1:15 p.m. The crash happened near 17th Street. The alert cleared around 3:15 p.m.
