Man Killed Near Ponce City Market

ATLANTA, GA -- Atlanta police are investigating the shooting death of a man whose body was discovered inside a home near Ponce City Market Monday morning.

Police responded to the home in the 500 block of Glen Iris Drive at approximately 2 a.m. after a neighbor called 911 to report shots had been fired, according to an incident report. Officers arrived at the scene and found a man who had been shot to death.

Investigators told WSB-TV that they believe the victim was intentionally targeted and are looking for a burgundy Pontiac Grand Prix that was seen fleeing the scene shortly after the shooting.
