Bank Robber Sought After Holdup at Midtown Area Wells Fargo
Thief wearing all black gave teller a handwritten note demanding cash, according to Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta.
ATLANTA, GA -- Police are looking for a man who walked into a Wells Fargo bank in the Virginia-Highlands area of Midtown this week and robbed it of an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man, wearing all black -- hoodie, cap, jacket, pants and sunglasses -- entered the bank at 979 Virginia Avenue on Wednesday and gave a handwritten note to the teller demanding cash. After getting the money, he fled on foot, police said.
Atlanta police said the thief is described as being between age 28 and 32; light complexion, medium build and between 5'08" to 5'09" in height.

Police released video from a surveillance camera in hopes that the public may help identify the perpetrator.
The man didn't get into a vehicle and didn't have a gun. He spoke in a "low and deep" tone and had a cut on his upper lip, police said.
