Meal Deals: These Restaurants are Serving Food Fit for a Falcons Fan

ATLANTA, GA -- As a sports fan that enjoys good grub, you can't stop your appetite. You can only hope to contain it. That being the case, some intown Atlanta eateries are offering specials in celebration of the Falcons' Super Bowl appearance.

If you haven't any plans for game day, many of the eateries will also be hosting Super Bowl parties.

FEBRUARY 5 | THE MERCURY | DRINK SPECIALS + TAILGATE BITES

The Mercury on the second floor of Ponce City Market in Midtown is inviting patrons to watch the game on big-screen TVs situated around the venue. The bar will be serving cocktail specials starting at 4 p.m. along with tailgate bites featuring such classic game-day eats as chicken wings with Alabama white sauce, subs and brownies. Price is $29.

LONGHORN STEAKHOUSE | 51 PERCENT OFF ON APPS

LongHorn Steakhouse, which has several metro Atlanta locations, is offering a 51 percent discount on its appetizers in honor of Super Bowl 51. The deal started Jan. 30 and will run to Super Bowl Sunday. The coupon, and more information, is available at LongHorn Steakhouse online.

FEBRUARY 5 | TWISTED SOUL COOKHOUSE & POURS | DRINK SPECIALS + MORE

Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours on Huff Road in Atlanta is hosting a watch-party featuring quarterly cocktail specials, build-your-own-stadium nachos, Chef Deborah Vantreece’s favorite game day gourmet hot dogs and a DJ. Each quarter will feature a $5 Falcon’s cocktail and "Rise Up" beer flight with your choice of three 4oz draft beer for $6. Festivities begin at 5 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday.

FEB. 5 | FOX BROS BBQ | FOX BROS SPICY WINGS

Fox Bros. BBQ has built up a loyal following on game days, and Super Bowl Sunday figures to be no different. The eatery is offering six wings for $8, 12 wings for $15 or 24 wings for $29. For more information visit their website.

Taqueria Del Sol on Cheshire Bridge Road in Atlanta is offering Dirty Bird fans four spreads to choose from: a Build-Your-Own Nacho Bar, Chile en Nogada, St. Louis Style Spare Ribs and Sol Tamales. The restaurant is asking that all big orders be placed by Friday, Feb. 2 and can be picked up cold on Saturday Feb. 4 or hot up until 3 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday.
