Rapper Bow Wow, Woman Arrested In Midtown Altercation
The rapper is accused of assaulting a woman early Saturday morning, only hours before Super Bowl LIII.

ATLANTA - Rapper Bow Wow was arrested in Midtown early Saturday morning and is being accused of assaulting a woman. According to Atlanta police, the incident happened at 205 12th Street and the victim, identified as Leslie Holden, sustained visible minor injuries. Both parties have been charged in the incident, as police said the responding officers were unable to determine who was the primary aggressor in the altercation.
An attorney for Bow Wow, whose real name is Shad Moss, said his client was wrongfully arrested. Joe S. Habachy said Holden, who he described as an "out of control intoxicated female," attacked Moss with a lamp.
"The only two independent witnesses both corroborated his version of events indicating that Ms. Holden was simply out of control and was without a doubt the primary aggressor," Habachy said in a statement released to the media. "For no logical reason officers arrested both parties despite having clear-cut evidence that Bow Wow was the victim in the case. Ms. Holden beat him with a lamp, bit him on his side, and spit on him while Bow Wow continually made efforts to avoid her."
