Salad Bar Chain Salata Coming to Atlantic Station
Fast-casual eatery moving into the old Moe's space in the courtyard.

ATLANTA, GA -- Atlantic Station in Midtown will be the first location for a popular salad bar concept, Salata, Patch has learned.
Dallas-based Henry Investment Group recently announced that the eatery was making a major investment in the area, opening 20 restaurants in the Atlanta market over the next few years.
The salad bar concept joins other fast-casual restaurants who have entered metro Atlanta in the new year, including Teriyaki Madness in Marietta and Old Fourth Ward's Makimono in Krog Street Market.

“We believe Atlanta is a prime market for the Salata brand,” David Henry, owner of HIG, said in a statement on FastCasual.com. “There’s a growing number of health-conscious consumers who want fresh, healthy and quick dining options at a great price, and that’s exactly who Salata caters to.”
Salata will move into the quarters vacated by Moe's, who closed down in mid-January.

Atlantic Station's dining options have been somewhat in a flux lately. The venerable New Orleans-flavored Copeland's Bistro shut its doors earlier this year.
