Donations Needed to Help Local Animal Shelter
These are some items that will help Walton County Animal Shelter find homes for adoptable animals.

Walton County Animal Control in Monroe is in need of donations of items that can help with housing and finding homes for stray animals. Donations of these items will help cut the monthly expenses.Â
In addition to the items listed, the shelter is in need of items to provide for adoption packs for cats and kittens. These include things like cat toys, treats, collars, bowls. These are given away free with each cat adoption in an effort to promote more cats getting out alive. These donations will help Walton County Animal Control Director Bill Wise and local rescue groups increase the number of adoptions from the shelter.
According to the Walton County Animal Shelter Website, donations of these everyday supplies help reallocate money to the vaccination and medical care programs. Items can be dropped off at the shelter located at 1141 S. Madison Avenue, Monroe, GA 30655.
