Don't Miss Taste of the Market in Downtown Monroe Saturday
The event will feature brunch items or baked goods prepared by area chefs using locally grown produce from Farmers Market vendors.

The Monroe Farmers market on a Saturday morning embraces the whole concept of keeping it local. Farmers from the area bring their wares to the market on a Saturday morning and residents flock to the town square to make their purchases.Â
This Saturday, residents will get the opportunity to find out just how tasty all that fresh produce can be when prepared by the experts.Â
From 9 a.m. to noon, chefs from area restaurants will be using the produce to cook up some tasty brunch treats for the visitors. Tickets will be sold for tastings, three tickets for $5.00 or 15 tickets for $20.00.

The pizza was made with tomato, basil and mozzarella cheese purchased from the Monroe Farmers Market. The concept will be expanded this Saturday with other restaurants from Walton County, Athens and Grayson. Graft, from the Grayson area, prides itself on the farm to table concept and will be participating..
