LOCAL PRESCHOOL FAMILIES AND STAFF PROVIDE HELP TO FAMILIES IN NEED
Primrose School at Sugarloaf Parkway families and staff show others how much they care
Lawrenceville, GA, (September 19, 2015) – Demonstrating their commitment to giving to others, Primrose School at Sugarloaf Parkway families and staff recently helped feed hungry families throughout the Lawrenceville area. On Friday, September 19th the preschool staff and families served homeless and broken communities through the 7 Bridges of Recovery missions in Atlanta by providing lunch and toiletries.
Spirits were filled through individual conversations. “We talked with them and let them know that we cared about them,” said Primrose School at Sugarloaf Parkway owner, Tanisha Turner.
“We brought the kids in a very broken community school supplies, played with them and sang songs together. Several members of the Primrose team even prayed with them after getting to know their stories. Hugs went all around as we said goodbye. It was an amazing day for us all.”

Care packages were also distributed under an I75 bridge, where many homeless people call home. Items were left under the bridge for those who clearly lived there as well, but, at the time, were away from their home.
These donations come when American families find themselves in critical need. One in six Americans face hunger and many turn to food banks. According to the USDA, about 49 million people – including 16 million children – are struggling with hunger in the U.S.
