Health Inspections: Perfect Scores for Two Walton County School Cafeterias

A look at recent restaurant inspections in Walton County. View a list of scores, detailed violations and corrective actions.

The Northeast Health District is tasked with ensuring restaurant compliance with applicable health and safety regulations. The following are the most recent scores available for Walton County restaurants and school cafeterias.

Each kitchen is given a score, and any violations are listed on-line.  The restaurant or cafeteria is categorized as low risk if there are no critical violations and a score of 90 or more is achieved.  For a food establishment to be categorized as high risk, one or more critical violations must be found.

Any restaurant with a failing grade -- a score of 70 or less -- receives a follow-up inspection within 10 days.'

  • Violation of : 14B. Utensils, equipment and linens: properly stored, dried, handled - Pails stacked wet. (repeat)
  • Violation of : 14C. Single-use/single-service articles: properly stored, used - Single service items in cabinet under drink station in dining area stored under drain lines. (repeat)
  • Violation of : 14D. Gloves used properly - Gloves not changed between going into walk in cooler and prepping.
  • Violation of : 17A. Toilet facilities: properly constructed, supplied, cleaned - No trash can at front and back hand wash sinks. 
  • Violation of : 17C. Physical facilities installed, maintained, and clean - Walk in cooler floor and cabinet under drink station not cleaned often enough. (repeat)
