WCSO Investigate Theft of Dirt Bike, Boat Motors

Zone 1

• Alarm – An alarm sounded on Fairway Drive in Fairway Estates. Walton County deputies responded and all doors and windows appeared secure.
• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Youth Jersey Rd. @ Pilot Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Zone 3

• Suspicious Person/Vehicle – A subject driving a green PT Cruiser was reportedly going door to door selling aerial photos of residences. No contact was made.
• Burglary Report – A warehouse on LMP Parkway was broken into. Uniform lockers were stolen from the warehouse.
• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Preston Rd. @ Braswell Church Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Cambridge Terrace in Cambridge Chase subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure. 

Zone 4

• Extra Patrol – A suspicious vehicle was seen driving slowly in front of a residence on Dry Pond Rd. Extra Patrol requested.
• Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested on Mount Vernon Rd. and Old Athens Hwy.
• Suspicious Person – An unknown person rang the doorbell at a residence on Parker Drive in Green Acres subdivision and left. No contact was made.

Zone 5

• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Double Springs Rd. at New Hope Church Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
• Damage to Property – A red VW Golf was found abandoned on Piney Grove Rd. The vehicle was towed.
• Theft – A graduation sign was taken from the front entrance of River Landing Dr. in River Landing subdivision.

 Zone 6

• Abandoned Vehicle – A white Dodge Ram truck was found abandoned on Hwy 20. The vehicle was towed.
• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Miller Bottom Rd. @ Flagstone Way. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
• Extra Patrol – A complaint was made in reference to subjects riding four-wheelers on a property on Hwy 20.
• Damage to Property – A vehicle damaged a building on Hwy 81.

Zone 7

• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Kent Rock Rd. @ Emmett Still Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
• Suspicious Person – A subject fled a vehicle after approaching a traffic safety checkpoint on Kent Rock Rd. @ Emmett Still Rd.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Sage Court in Fields at Shiloh subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Taylor Drive in Forest Brooks subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
• Stolen Vehicle – A Honda CR 250 dirt bike was taken from the rear of a residence on Greenhill Way.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Lakeside Blvd. in Woodlake subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
• Theft Report – Two motors were taken from a boat located at a residence on Lake Shore Drive.
