AUSGEZEICHNET! Lakeside High Cleans Up at German Competition
The school's club was the most decorated team at the Jackson competition late last month.

A few parents sent this to me, and it went out on this week's PTSA newsletter:
On January 27th and 28th, 20 of our LHS German students participated in the State German Convention held annually in Jackson, GA. Out of 21 schools, Lakeside was the most decorated school. Our students did extremely well in both the individual and group competitions. The results below show just how well-rounded our students are. Please excuse some of the phrasing, as not all German words translate nicely into English.

We also had a student elected to serve as Secretary for the Student Association for Students of German in Georgia. Congratulations Ben Hoover! He will meet with the other officers throughout the year to discuss improving student activities and new ideas for the 2013 State German Convention. The students also help organize and run the convention while they are there.
