Mason Mill Ribbon Cuttings Postponed Due to Expected Poor Weather
DeKalb County's "Mason Mill Day at the Park" has been rescheduled for May 5 from 1pm - 4pm.

The county has rescheduled the event for May from 1pm - 4pm, according to a county statement.

The county was planning to formally open 's newly renovated dog park, its new PATH trail and a wetland project. The "Day in the Park" celebration is part of a series of activities organized in honor of National County Government Month.
Since 1991, the National Association of Counties has encouraged counties across the country to actively promote county government programs and services by celebrating the month. The celebration aims to raise public awareness and understanding about the roles and responsibilities of county government. The county's theme this year is "Healthy Counties, Healthy Families: ONE Healthy DeKalb."
