North Decatur Man's Death Treated as Homicide
David Johns, 55, died from blunt force trauma to the head, DeKalb County police said.

DeKalb County police are investigating the death of a North Decatur man found Friday in his home as a homicide, several metro news outlets are reporting.
Police believe David Johns, 55, who lives just behind and had not shown up to work for two days, died of blunt force trauma to the head, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Family members checking on Johns after he didn't show up for work found the body at his home in the 900 block of Sycamore Drive, according to a WSB-TV report that includes video.

From the WSB-TV report:
"I'm in shock, absolute shock," one neighbor told Bojorquez. "[He was] really well-known and respected in this neighborhood. I feel sorry for his family and his friends.”
Neighbors told police have not seen or heard anything suspicious in the last few days.
