Robbers Use Stun Gun on Apartment Complex Worker

The thieves made away with a two-way radio from a man who works at the Park at Briarcliff apartment complex.

Two robbers used a stun gun to steal an expensive two-way radio from an apartment complex worker Tuesday afternoon, DeKalb County police said.

The 55-year-old victim, an employee of the apartment complex, 1486 Willow Lake Dr., was walking down the sidewalk near the complex's 1400 building when two suspects used a stun gun on him at about 4:10pm, the police report said.

The worker fell to the ground, cutting his head, and the suspects took his radio after he attempted to call for help. They also stole the keys to his vehicle. He told police he didn't get a good look at the suspects but saw them drive away in a gray vehicle. A witness also told police he noticed a dark gray Dodge Challenger with dark windows and damage to the driver's side of the vehicle speeding out of the complex.
