Oconee Architect To Hold Public Meeting on a Plan for Watkinsville
There is a meeting on January 22nd at the Watkinsville Community Center.

Robert Smith, a fourth generation native of Oconee County, is an architect who is concerned about how the community develops. He recently sent a letter to members of the Chamber of Commerce. It pertains to all of the county.
My name is Robert Smith, and I am of the 4th generation of my family raised in Oconee County. I graduated from OCHS in 2002, and went on to receive my Bachelor of Science from Georgia Tech and my Master of Architecture from Notre Dame. I am currently practicing architecture in Atlanta.Β
Watkinsville is a place that I love, which is why I devoted an entire semester of study at Notre Dame exploring ideas from an architectural and planning perspective that would strengthen the town and county alike and leave a lasting legacy for future generations. You may have already read about the plan in this week's Oconee Enterprise (http://www.oconeeenterprise.com/articles/2014/01/16/news/doc52d6b900bd794828990690.txt).
