2 Murder Fugitives Arrested on Same Day in Gwinnett
Shakidi Dominique Underwood and Hozyfa H. Sultan were wanted for unrelated homicides in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Two murder suspects wanted for unrelated killings in Fort Wayne, Indiana, were arrested in Gwinnett County Monday, according to police and the FBI.
Around 8 a.m., Gwinnett Police arrested Shakidi Dominique Underwood, 18, who was a passenger in a car driven by his sister that was stopped for making an unlawful left turn out of the parking lot of Baggett Elementary School.

Underwood is one of three teenagers charged in connection with the shooting death of Melvin Palmer III, on July 9 in Fort Wayne. Police said after Porshanique Shaquay Johnson was pulled over for the left-turn violation, the officer could smell the odor of burnt marijuana. Underwood also was charged with possession of marijuana.
Also Monday, FBI agents, in conjunction with Gwinnett Police, arrested Hozyfa H. Sultan, 24, in Snellville, the FBI said. Sultan is wanted for murder and attempted murder in the Oct. 22 fatal shooting of Brandon Washington in a Fort Wayne home.

Washington was one of two men shot inside the home, a half-day before his 21-year-old brother Larry Washington was found shot dead inside an SUV along with a 16-year-old, the FBI said.
Both suspects are awaiting extradition to Indiana.
