Picture Perfect Day for 2nd Annual 'Arts in the Park'

Hosted by the Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Department, art lovers enjoyed a day filled with art, food, music, dance and more on Saturday, April 13.

Amid the backdrop of an ideal park setting along the Chattahoochee River, families and art lovers took advantage of a perfect spring day in Peachtree Corners to stroll the art booths at Jones Bridge Park on Saturday.

The Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Department held its 2nd annual "Arts in the Park" event at the only county park with direct access to the Chattahoochee River.

On hand were a variety of art booths including hand-made jewelery, pottery, soaps, quilts, and a metal and glass artist.

And there was plenty for families with small children including a inflatable slide, face painting and crafts to enjoy.

Festival goers enjoyed a variety of food booths including frozen custard, fresh fruit drinks and sandwiches provided by Applewhite Catering.

The recreation department provided painting activities for children and a raffle. The event was held Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 10-6 p.m.
