Arrest Made In Fatal Shooting Of Man Putting Air In Tires At GA Gas Station
Gwinnett County police have arrested a suspect wanted in connection with the death of a man putting air in his tires at a gas station.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of a man who was putting air in his tires at a gas station in Gwinnett County.
Police announced Thursday that they arrested David Jarrad Booker, WSB-TV reported. Brad Coleman was shot and killed July 10 outside of a QuickTrip gas station at 5255 Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree Corners.

According to investigators, the victim was parked near the air pumps preparing to put air in his tire on the passenger side. Another vehicle with three suspects parked in a space next to him.
One of the suspects got into the driver's seat of Coleman’s car, police said. He tried to stop his car from being stolen, police said. The suspect and the victim got into a fight inside the car. That's when a second suspect got involved.

Coleman was shot during the altercation. He died on the scene, according to police.
During this incident, another car pulled up behind waiting to use the air pumps, and witnessed the shooting, police said. Police said the suspects got back in their vehicle after shooting Coleman.
Coleman was a former football coach at Peachtree Ridge High School and father, WSB-TV reported.
