Arts, Business World Combine for Evening of Fun
Peachtree Corners Business Association members and guests mixed and mingled for an evening filled with fine art at Objet d'Art Gallery and Studios.
The Peachtree Corners Business Association's Wednesday evening event was all about the arts.
Objet d'Art Gallery and Studios, located in the Village at Peachtree Corners shopping center, hosted the PCBA's spring gathering where over 80 members and their guests mixed and mingled and strolled through the Peachtree Corners art gallery.
"We're delighted to be able to host the PCBA event," said Sheri Snyder, the art gallery's owner. "We're the best kept secret in Peachtree Corners, but we hope now all of you will be back," said Snyder who opened her business last fall.

And of course, the evening would not have been complete without food - Flying Biscuit Cafe, located in the same shopping center, catered the affair. The popular eatery served an array of dishes including Shrimp & Grits, a green salad topped with fresh sliced strawberries and other delicious dishes.
"It's great to see everybody," said PCBA president Mike McLaughlin. "We have 160 members and we're still growing." The business association held its first meeting just a little over a year ago and is adding new members every month said Lisa Proctor, the PCBA's membership director.

McLaughlin reminded everyone that 25 percent of membership dues are given back to the community. The organization's outreach committee is headed by Patricia Kaemmerling with .
The PCBA, in conjunction with the UPCCA and Peachtree Corners Festival, is sponsoring a Gwinnett Braves Night on June 7. Discount tickets are available through the Gwinnett Braves website.
The evening will kick of the two-day Peachtree Corners Festival slated for June 8-9.
"The next PCBA event will be a State of the City Address on July 15," said McLaughlin. Mayor Mike Mason will provide an update on the city, the event will be held at 7:30 a.m. at the Marriott Hotel in Peachtree Corners.
