Atlanta Dream to Open Season with Wesleyan School Alumna

Anne Marie Armstrong retains her position on the WNBA team, which announced its finalized roster May 22.

A Wesleyan School alumna will officially begin her WNBA career this Saturday, as the Atlanta Dream opens its season against the Tulsa Shock.

Anne Marie Armstrong, who graduated from Wesleyan School four years ago, was drafted by the Atlanta Dream in April. However, the Atlanta Dream's 11-player roster was not finalized until this week, according to the team's website.

So, if you are trying to find her on the court, look for jersey No. 3. The 6-foot-3-inch Armstrong will be playing the positions of guard and forward.
