Body Of Missing Girl With Autism Found: Gwinnett County Police

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — The body of the missing 8-year-old girl with autism has been found, according to Gwinnett County police, reported WSB.

Brittany Hall told police she had last seen her daughter, Nicole, on Sunday between midnight and 1 a.m., according to police. Nicole went missing from the Hometown Studios at 7049 Jimmy Carter Blvd. She was new to the Peachtree Corners area.

At a Tuesday afternoon news conference, Police Chief J.D. McClure said officers found the girl's body late Tuesday morning in a wooded area near the Stone Mill Trace subdivision at Stone Mill Trace and Stone Mountain Freeway, according to WAGA-TV.

Officers charged the mother’s partner, Celeste Owens, with felony murder for the girl’s death. Late Monday night, police charged the girl’s mother, Brittany Hall, with falsely reporting a crime and six counts of first-degree cruelty to children.
