Duluth Pie Shop Named Among Best In Nation, According To List

Offering Key lime to Boston cream to chicken pot pie, this Duluth pie studio was named to Thrillist's Best Pie Shops In America list.

DULUTH, GA — Crave Pie Studios, helmed by self-proclaimed pievangelist Briana Carson, has spent the past decade evolving into an institution by offering Georgia pie enthusiasts a wide spread of styles. As a result, the Duluth business recently earned a spot on Thrillist's Best Pie Shops In America list.

According to Thrillist, Carson's "chocolate bourbon pecan nods to Kentucky hooch and classes it up with Georgia pecans and Belgian sweets. The South (is) alive in everything from layered lemon and chocolate chess offerings to a duo of sweet potato pies (winter only). She even pays tribute to regional favorites like Key lime, Boston cream, and Hoosier pie."

If you're not looking for sweet, Crave serves up the savory with chicken pot pie and other offerings that include bacon cheddar and sun-dried tomatoes. Finally, the pies are mini, Thrillist writes, so you can feel good about trying a few.
