The Happy Hearts Club at Peachtree Corners Baptist Church

Founder, Dianne McGarey was led to organize the Happy Hearts Club (HHC) at Peachtree Corners Baptist Church after losing her husband of 26 years to Alzheimer's.
Dianne had "been there" and she, armed with a troop of friendly volunteers, started the HHC in October, 2008. HHC is dedicated to the encouragement of those who are selflessly caring for loved ones at home.
Currently, HHC is Co-Directed by Kay Johnson and Angi Lewallen and continues to serve our caregivers and community.
Co-Director Kay Johnson retired from the DuPont Company in Medical Product Sales. Kay started with Happy Hearts in February, 2009. She was a caregiver to her mother and brother, both whom had Alzheimer's.
Co-Director Angi Lewallen, RN, who works at a local hospital, started with Happy Hearts in October, 2008. She was a caregiver to her mother and father both whom had cancer, and her grandmother who had Alzheimer's.

The Happy Hearts Club meets weekly on Monday's from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is located in the Peachtree Corners Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. For more information email pcbchappyheartsclub@yahoo.com Participants bring a bagged lunch. Snacks and beverages are provided throughout the day.
