Indoor Baseball Academy Opens in Peachtree Corners
With baseball season around the corner D-BAT Baseball & Softball Academy opens its latest franchise in a 27,000 square-foot indoor facility.
From The City of Peachtree Corners: The baseball and softball seasons are just around the corner – and now aspiring players, both young and old, have an indoor facility right here in Peachtree Corners to hone their skills.
D-BAT Baseball & Softball Academy has just opened its latest franchise in a 27,000 square-foot facility fitted with 13 batting cages, a break-out training area and pro shop. Located in an office park off of Amwiler Road, the membership-based academy offers lessons, camps and clinics.
The facility is also available for drop-in batting practice. “We are delighted to welcome D-BAT to our community,” said Councilmember Phil Sadd. “Our young city continues to attract new businesses and employment opportunities. We thank D-BAT for choosing our city to locate their new academy.”

The academy offers: instruction by former professional and collegiate players, private baseball and softball lessons, baseballs and softballs pitching machines, virtual field simulators, batting cage rentals, a fully-stocked pro shop and over 50 camps and clinics. The Peachtree Corners location is the newest to open for the Carrollton, Texas-based company which operates over 40 academies nationwide in states stretching from the east to the west coast. Along with batting lessons, the academy also works with the young players to develop and emphasize good sportsmanship, said Mark Spears, executive partner at the Peachtree Corners location.
