Man Raping Woman Jumps From 2nd Story To Escape, Sought By Police

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — The Gwinnett County Police Department need the public’s help in identifying a man who, they say, committed rape. On Saturday, Sept. 22, officers assigned to the West Precinct were dispatched to a call about a possible rape.

Officers arrived at an apartment complex in the city of Peachtree Corners and met with a woman. The woman told the officers that she walked into her sister’s bedroom that morning and found a man raping her sister while she was asleep. The woman began to fight with the man while the victim was unconscious. During the struggle, the man jumped out of the second story window and landed on the grass below. By the time officers arrived, he was gone.

The woman told the officers that the family was having a small party at the home the night before, but no one had invited the man. He was unknown to everyone.

The detective assigned to this case has been working hard to identify the suspect, but he needs the public’s help to put a name to the face, police said.
