Man Killed In Peachtree Corners Hotel Shooting Id'd; Suspect At Large
Police said the deadly shooting happened at a Jimmy Carter Boulevard hotel, where the two men were staying.

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — The 28-year-old man who was fatally shot Tuesday in the 7000 block of Jimmy Carter Boulevard was identified Wednesday as Dareese Ellis, of Peachtree Corners.
The shooting suspect was identified as Jay Dante Crump, 21, of Peachtree Corners. Crump's location was unknown late Wednesday morning.
Police said officers responded around 5:45 p.m. to a Jimmy Carter hotel, where they found a man dead from a gunshot wound. Ellis and Crump were staying at the hotel when the shooting happened, police said.

Crump was charged on suspicion of aggravated assault, felony murder and possession of a firearm during a felony, police said.
He is 6-feet-6-inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds, police said. It is unknown what he was last wearing.
