Residents and commuters on Bush Road may have noticed a scurry of police activity Friday morning.
According to Cpl. Edwin Ritter, spokesperson for Gwinnett County police, an officer responded to a call from a resident who saw a naked man in the woods along Bush Road.
Apparently when the police officer approached the man, he began fighting with the officer and back up was called.Â
According to a Tweet Patch received from a nearby resident, eight police cars responded.
Cpl. Ritter said the man, who is suspected to have been on drugs or possibly have a mental issue, has been hauled off to jail.
No injuries were reported.
