Police Seek Suspect Car in Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run: News Nearby

Amber Harding, 28, was killed while crossing the road at the intersection of South Norcross Tucker and Graves roads Tuesday around 10 p.m.

Gwinnett Police shared photos of a car similar to the one that is believed to be the suspect’s car in Tuesday night’s fatal pedestrian accident that killed Amber Harding, 28, of Tucker.

The lead investigator determined the hit-and-run vehicle is a gold Honda Civic 4-Door VTEC, which has gold or yellow headlights and chrome rims. The vehicle is lowered to the ground and has tinted windows, and may have damage to the front bumper, hood and windshield.

Police said Harding was killed while crossing the road at the intersection of South Norcross Tucker and Graves roads Tuesday around 10 p.m.

Detectives believe the driver was driving north on South Norcross Tucker, and accelerated to pass through a yellow light, before the accident happened. The driver fled the scene.

The ”don’t walk” sign was illuminated when Harding crossed the road, police said.
