TV News: Leno Leaving 'Tonight Show'

The man who replaced Johnny Carson say's he's exiting next spring.

For Peachtree Corners late night TV viewers - there's a change coming to NBC's line up. According to an AP report, Jay Leno is leaving the "Tonight Show" next spring and Jimmy Fallon has been named as his replacement

Leno made the announcement Wednesday in a news release.

The report also confirmed that the NBC show will be moving to New York City when Fallon takes over the show and Lorne Michaels, the producer of "Saturday Night Live" will produce the new "Tonight Show."

The announcement came shortly after contract negotiations with Fallon had been finalized, his replacement has not been named.
