The Peachtree Corners Patch calendar is full of news about events coming up in the weeks ahead. Here's a look at five of this week's community events. Click on the links for additional details.

Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5: Peachtree Corners voters will decide 1) whether to grant the city municipal redevelopment powers, 2) whether to approve a special 1-cent sales tax (SPLOST) which the county expects to primarily use for transportation projects, 3) fill three city council seats. Sample ballot included.

Peachtree Corners City Council Meeting, Tuesday, Nov. 5: Council will consider a request to amend the city's zoning map for four properties to accommodate a mixed-use development and consider adopting the Comprehensive Plan.

Veterans Day Celebration, Friday, Nov. 8: Peachtree Corners Baptist Church invites all veterans and families. Guest speaker: Dan Starovasnick -- retired Navel Officer.

Holiday Gift Bazaar, Saturday, Nov. 9: Get a jump start on your Holiday Shopping at Atlanta Unity Church.

Manual Overdrive - a KeyBoard Extravaganza Concert, Saturday, Nov. 9: Five keyboard performers performing at once. Music by Scott Joplin, Gottschalk, Bach, Widor, Sousa and more.  Audience sing-alongs. Christ the King Lutheran Church.
