What's Going On Around Town

The Peachtree Corners Patch calendar is full of news about events coming up in the weeks ahead. Here's a look at five of this week's community events.

1. The Peachtree Corners City Council will hold a meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 3, at 7 p.m. to discuss approving a resolution for redevelopment powers. If approved it would be added as a referendum for residents to vote on in the Nov. 5, 2013 elections.

2. Breakfast with Council is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 8 a.m. at the Corner Bakery Cafe. Check the City of Peachtree Corners website for more details.

3. Multi-family garage sale: RiverPlace subdivision off of Bush Road is holding a multi-family garage sale on Friday, Sept. 6. Click here for directions.

4. Chris Cummiskey, Commissioner for the Georgia Department of Economic Development, will speak at a SW Chamber of Commerce breakfast on Friday, Sept. 6 at the Atlanta Hilton in Peachtree Corners. Cost is $15, registration required.

5. Meet the Brewer: Peachtree Growler is hosting the Lone Rider Brewery from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7. Click here for more details and directions.
