Would You Still Take a Cruise In Spite of Recent Cruise Line Woes?
Another cruise was cut short for more than 2,200 vacationers over the weekend after a fire broke out on a Royal Caribbean ship.

The cruise industry has been beset by problems of late, the most recent being this past holiday weekend when a fire broke out on The Grandeur of the Sea, a cruise ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet.
According to the Huffington Post, after the ship docked in the Bahamas on Monday, the more than 2,200 passengers had to be flown back to Baltimore where the trip began. The fire was reportedly extinguished within two hours and no injuries were reported. However, the damage was such that the trip had to be cut short, the Huffington Post reports.
A cruise has long been considered great value for money with many passengers returning often for repeat experiences. However, this recent incident is just the last one in a string of mishaps reported since January 2012 when the Italian Ship the Costa Concordia ran aground. In that incident, more than 4,200 passengers were stranded, 32 died and 64 were injured, according to a story in US News. Carnival Cruise Lines has been beset by problems just this year with unpleasant experiences for passengers on the four of its ships - Triumph, Elation, Dream and Legend, according to CNN. Problems included passengers being stranded at sea for days without power, running water or sanitary conditions.
