• Bryan Co. citizens ask leaders for more animal services (wsav.com) — Bryan County residents are pressing commissioners to expand animal services, including better staffing and foster programs, for shelters in Pembroke and Richmond Hill. Locals say limited weekday-only, appointment-based hours make adoptions difficult, while county leaders point to a new, larger Richmond Hill shelter opening Dec. 15 and say they’re open to structured volunteer programs.
