- Several people were arrested by the Roswell police after a human trafficking and prostitution network was uncovered. The trafficking and prostitution ring operates throughout several metro Atlanta massage parlors. “Human trafficking is a heinous crime. And I say it is often hidden behind closed doors. But it’s hidden in plain sight. It’s in our community, it’s in our neighborhoods, it’s behind the doors of what appears to be legitimate business,” said Earnelle Winfrey, a deputy district attorney with Fulton County. Ten spa locations in Roswell, Johns Creek, Sandy Springs, and Atlanta that were thought to have been supporting human trafficking were searched. (Atlanta News First)
