Here are the top stories in Roswell today:

  1. The Ann Jackson Gallery in Roswell is exhibiting the illustrations, paintings, and sculptures created by the late great Theodor “Ted” Seuss Geisel (aka Dr. Seuss). The fanciful and whimsical imagination of Dr. Seuss will be shared through the fine art collection that he created. These works were stowed away from the public for many years and now they're on display right here in Roswell. An appointment is required to visit the gallery and view the collection. (WABE)
  2. A local Jeep customization shop has been making waves and is being called the "Pioneer of custom jeep experience" in the southeast. FORTEC4x4 Roswell was founded in 1991 in a basement on the south side of Roswell. FORTEC's decades of success has allowed it to become one of premier jeep customization shops around. Many Jeep lovers now choose FORTEC for their vehicle's conversion services over Jeep dealerships. Car dealerships throughout Atlanta use FORTEC4x4 to install custom packages to their new inventory. 3. The re-release of Steven Spielberg and George Lucas' "Raiders of the Lost Ark" will hit theaters for one day only on Thursday, June 7, and will only be shown at a few theaters in the local area. Roswell will be one of the few locations that the movie will be shown in the entire Metro area. To see the movie on the big screen, residents can go to the Movie Tavern Roswell Cinema at at 4651 Woodstock Road to see the film. The Regal theater at Atlantic Station and Regal Avalon in Alpharetta will also show the movie on June 9. This first installment of the Indiana Jones franchise will be a nostalgic treat for those who remember the classic film, and a new adventure for those who have never seen the movie. (Newsbreak)
