The Historic District Master Plan is a preservation-focused initiative for the area along Ga. 9 from just north of the Chattahoochee River to Woodstock Street. It also encompasses Canton Street, a portion of Alpharetta and Norcross streets, Bulloch Avenue, Magnolia Street, Mimosa Boulevard and the streets surrounding the Roswell Mill area.
The master plan "will establish a detailed vision for the district as a sustainable and thriving downtown that protects historic character and resources," Roswell said. It will also recommend possible changes to standards and regulations to support the vision outlined in the document. More information about this project is available on the city's website.
