  1. Brown & Company Jewelers has been a member of the Roswell business community for many years. This elite jeweler is growing and will be opening another location in Buckhead Village. “For nearly half a century, our family has earned the trust of discerning clientele by curating and creating time-honored, bespoke experiences unique to Brown & Company,” said President Sarah Beth Brown Prendeville. Their new 5,500-square-foot Buckhead showroom will premier the jeweler's new Brown & Company Bridal Salon and "reflect the brand's commitment to timeless beauty."   2. Fulton County Commissioner, Bridget Thorne, recently held a town hall meeting at the Alpharetta Branch Library to answer questions from residents about the upcoming election. Thorne represents parts of Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, Roswell, and John's Creek. Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections Chair, Patrise Perkins-Hooker, and board member Michael Heekin were also in attendance and answered questions. Inquiries about the county adopting hand-counting paper ballots, voter registration, and schedules for poll workers were some of the topics that were addressed. (Appen Media)

  • City of Roswell, Georgia Government: The construction work at the intersection of Warsaw Road and Old Roswell Road has been completed. Officials from the city conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of this project on Sept. 15. This intersection has new turn lanes, crosswalks, lights, and other features.   • City of Roswell, Georgia Cultural Arts: There are still subscriptions available for the Center Stage Family Series at the Cultural Arts Center. "The Diggery Dinosaur Show," "The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane," and the "The Learning Groove and Pete the Cat" show are all apart of the lineup.   • City of Roswell, Georgia Recreation and Parks: Coach Felippe Mendonça from Roswell Men's Gymnastics was awarded the 2023 USA Gymnastics Junior Men's Coach of the Year.
