  1. A man was reported to police for public indecency after a group of women stated that he exposed himself to them while they were at a bus stop. 2. Officials have reopened the Chattahoochee River for public recreational use. The Chattahoochee Riverkeeper has run tests on the water quality daily since the river was closed from an E. coli outbreak at the end of June. “U.S. Public Health Service officials supported the reopening after seeing continual improvement in sampling results and process improvements at the Fulton County facility,” said the National Park Service. They will continue to monitor the effects that the outbreak had of vegetation and wildlife within the waterway habitat. (US News)
  3. A live firework was accidently thrown into the truck bed of a vehicle at Gran Crique Drive on Independence Day. As a result, a small fire ignited in the back of the truck. The flames were put out by police officers. The owner of the truck soon arrived and identified the vehicle as his work van. They could not locate the person who was putting their used fireworks in the truck bed, and there were no witnesses. The case is still active. (Appen Media)
