NYT Bestseller Paula McLain, Author of 'The Paris Wife,' Will Headline Two Roswell Reads Events on Jan. 10
McLain will talk about the craft of writing and will discuss her new book, "Skylark," during pair of literary events on Saturday, Jan. 10.

Roswell Reads, in partnership with Roswell Cultural Arts and Bookmiser, will feature Paula McLain, the New York Times bestselling author of “The Paris Wife” and eight other titles, at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center for two literary events on Saturday, Jan. 10. McLain will talk about the craft of writing and will discuss her new book, “Skylark.”
The author of six novels, two collections of poetry and a memoir, McLain’s work has been published in more than 35 countries and featured in the New York Times, The Guardian, Town & Country, Real Simple and elsewhere. Her latest novel, “Skylark,” will be released just four days earlier.
To celebrate, Roswell Reads will showcase the author in two presentations on Jan. 10, both at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 950 Forrest St., Roswell.

At the Writer to Writer event at 9:30 a.m., McLain will share insights into her historical research process and explore her decision to structure “Skylark” using a dual timeline. Tickets are $15 and are available online here.
At 2 p.m., McLain will discuss “Skylark,” a mesmerizing tale of Paris above and below, where a woman's quest for artistic freedom in 1664 intertwines with a doctor's dangerous mission during the German occupation in the 1940s. A $35 ticket includes an autographed and/or personalized hardback copy of “Skylark,” priority seating and a photo with the author. General admission tickets are $15.
