  2. Restaurants and eateries in Roswell continue to a topic of conversation amongst the Atlanta culinary scene. Six local bakeries have become the focus and have been placed in the spotlight by Explore Georgia, an online Georgia travel guide. Gracious Plenty Bakery & Breakfast is located on Canton Street and was established in 2018. Owner and chef Jasmin Willis is a Roswell native and thinks of her bakery as a "self-proclaimed breakfast boutique." Cristy's Kitchen is a family-owned gluten-free bakery that is known for offering menu items that are health-conscious and diet-specific. Doodle Pies is another bakery that made the list. This unique pie shop serves sweet and savory pies, and options for patrons to build their own pies. Custom Cakes by Liud Cuban Bakery & Cafe, Jerusalem Bakery & Grill, and The Pie Hole are the other sweet treat shops that Explore Georgia highlighted. (Newsbreak)
  3. It's almost time for the annual Roswell Rivers Alive Cleanup. Keep Roswell Beautiful is looking for more than 200 volunteers to clean up and remove invasive species from the city's parks and waterways. Volunteers will also assist with marking storm drains throughout the city. Last year, volunteers were able to clear over 2 tons of garbage from the parks and waterways in the 2022 Rivers Alive event. This year's cleanup day will take place on Saturday, Sept. 16. The City of Roswell is asking for residents who would like to volunteer to participate to sign-up on the Keep Roswell Beautiful website, or on their social media pages. (Facebook)
