Roswell to Offer Adaptive 'Friendship Camp' for Special-Needs Children

The camps start June 17.

The is offering four weeks of day camps throughout June and July for children ages 4-12 with a mild level of special needs, such as those with Autism, ADD/ADHD or other intellectual disabilities. 

Children will enjoy music, crafts, outside play and, most of all, opportunities to make friends. There will be a variety of activities centered around social interaction. Camp themes include space, dinosaurs, insects and superheroes.

The Roswell Adaptive Friendship Camp will meet at Don White Park, 925B Riverside Road, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fees are $200 per week for Roswell residents or $300 per week for non-residents.
