- An acclaimed 22-year-old was recently named an Outstanding Georgia Citizen. MiQuan Green founded a local production company called MGreen Productions when he was 12. His company uses marketing and videography to impact his local community. “He’s a good young man, and he cares about people and he cares about people that are the most important thing, the community you have to care about folks, and he is one that does," said Ida Floyd Austin, who owns a deli next door to Green. - Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport reached its highest annual passenger count in 2022 with 3,533,294 passengers traveling through the airport. The count is 27 percent higher than 2021's passenger count. Expanded services offered by airlines and inbound passenger traffic to Savannah and Hilton Head attractions have spurred the growth. - Enmarket Arena celebrated its one-year anniversary this past Sunday. Despite some delays and following years of planning, the arena has now hosted 325,000 fans and 20 sold-out shows, and it provides a boost to nearby businesses in West Savannah. General Manager Monty Jones Jr. says new parking areas are nearly complete. (WTOC)
