- The Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is preparing for a busy holiday period. The airport is notifying potential travelers that there will be big crowds — potentially bigger than pre-pandemic levels. The airport is preparing for a potential 10-15 percent capacity increase in November and December. Plan to arrive at the airport at least two hours early during the holiday period. (WJCL)
- The Chatham County community is raising money for a teacher diagnosed with rare stage four thyroid cancer. Misty Selph needs to be treated at the MD Cancer Institute in Houston. - Savannah's homebuilders are lowering prices. According to NAHB Chairman Jerry Konter, "buyer traffic is weakening in many markets" around the country. Almost a quarter of Savannah's homebuilders have reported lowering home prices — a significant rise from the 19 percent in August. (CNBC)
